    Himalayan Mountaineering Course – Level I<\/strong><\/ins><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Season: Winter
    Dates: December 6 – 24, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Himalayan Mountaineering Course (HMC\/TMC) with 14 participants from NUS Mountaineering, Singapore, along with two additional climbers from the United Kingdom and Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This season, the NUS Mountaineering Team achieved an impressive milestone by summiting Mt. Tsorku (5750 m) with a 100% success rate! Congratulations to everyone on this remarkable achievement, marking your first ascent of the mountain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Throughout the course, participants engaged in a comprehensive curriculum that covered essential skills such as rock, ice, and snow craft, mountain navigation, leadership techniques, basic rescue skills, waterfall ice climbing, rope work, and glacier activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We applaud the dedication and perseverance of all participants and look forward to more adventures in the future!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
