The Kathmandu Valley Tour explores these culturally endowed cities and allows one to revel in the brilliant display of art, architecture, and religious affluence.The 7-days tour of the Kathmandu valley starts with your arrival in Kathmandu. During your stay in the valley, you will be visiting numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites and other tourist attractions. Some of the major highlights during this touring period are the durbar squares in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath, and Boudhanath. Kathmandu is a mixture of several ethnic groups and different religions thus you also get to observe different festivals, rituals, and religious ceremonies while strolling around the valley. The ancient history and culture here is accompanied by the antique relics, traditional sculptures, and exquisite architecture which date back to the 13th century. After exploring Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur, you drive to Nagarkot. It is a renowned place which offers stunning views of the sunrise and sunset. The tour package not only offers historical and cultural highlights of the Kathmandu valley but also allows you to observe the art and architecture of the place. The pagoda style temples, dome-shaped stupas, ancient woodwork, and remarkable stone carvings are a treat for the eyes and food for the curious souls. Travel Itinerary

The trip begins with your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Our company representative will welcome you at the airport. Your arrival is followed by a drive to the trip hotel where you can rest and prepare for the tour. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, you meet our tour guide at the hotel premises. You will be briefed about the tour on the day. Our company vehicle will take you around the valley for sightseeing and make brief stops for lunch and refreshment. The day starts with a short drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a culturally rich site filled with many temples and monuments. In the afternoon, you head towards the holy Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath stupa. You can also visit the Swayambhunath stupa, if time permits. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Today, you drive through the narrow streets of Patan to reach the Patan Durbar Square. This area is particularly known for its tradition of art and crafts which you can see on display in the museums, street shops, old houses, and ancient monuments. Krishna Mandir is the major attraction in the durbar square area. It is supposed to be the first specimen of Shikhar style architecture in Nepal. In the evening, you can check also check out the zoo located in Jawalakhel area. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

On the 4th day, you drive to the beautiful Bhaktapur durbar square, a conglomeration of pagoda and Shikhara-style temples grouped around a fifty-five window palace of brick and wood. Also known as Bhadgaun, Bhaktapur is regarded as the abode of Nepali culture and unique wooden arts and potteries. You can see the 55 window palace, Naytapola temple, the golden gate, and Bhairav Nath temple. In the evening, you visit the Changunarayan temple which is believed to have been built around the 4th century. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

This is the last day of the Kathmandu Valley Tour. In your free time in Kathmandu, you can visit other interesting places or just engage in some recreational activities. You can also take some time to do souvenir shopping. In the evening, you join the tour-team for a farewell dinner and share your memories of the tour. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

The 7 day trip comes to an end today. A company representative will take you to the airport from where you board the flight back home.
