Anup Gurung is a highly experienced IFMGA/UIAGM-certified mountain guide with over a decade of expertise in high-altitude mountaineering and guiding. Born in Gorkha, Nepal, Anup has successfully led expeditions across Nepal’s most challenging peaks.

Anup began his career in 2008 as a first aid responder and rock climber, later advancing to become a certified trekking and mountaineering guide. His skills extend beyond climbing—he has been actively involved in mountain rescue operations, exploration projects, and training future climbers as a mountaineering instructor.
With multiple first-place finishes in national climbing competitions, a deep passion for the mountains, and a commitment to safety, Anup is a trusted and respected figure in the Himalayan guiding community.
