Sujal Gurung, an Aspirant IFMGA Guide, was born and raised in Laprak, in the Manaslu region of Gorkha District, Nepal. He has been passionate about climbing since his teenage years and became a qualified Aspirant Mountain Guide in 2021.
Since 2012, Sujal has been actively involved in rock climbing, ice climbing, and high-altitude expeditions. He has successfully guided clients to the summits of several iconic peaks, including:
Recently, he successfully summited Mt. Everest (8848.68m) and Mt. Manaslu (8163m), further solidifying his expertise in high-altitude mountaineering.
Beyond climbing, Sujal is also an ultra-marathon runner. His warm smile, sense of humor, and confidence make him a valuable guide at Himalaya Summit Club, ensuring that climbers and trekkers feel safe, relaxed, and enjoy their Himalayan experience.
